An audit is a fixed fee. Delivery is day-rate. Ongoing work is a monthly retainer. You always get a full estimate for the next phase before the current one ends.

I do not bill vague discovery. Before a phase starts you get a written scope, a duration and a fixed price, and if the scope changes materially I tell you before the budget moves rather than after.

Prices below are indicative for 2026 and exclude VAT. Travel inside the EU is included; anything else is agreed in advance.

What moves the price

Data messiness

Clean, structured sources are cheap. Scanned PDFs, five systems of record and inconsistent naming are the most common cause of a budget change — and I flag them in the audit, not afterwards.

Compliance requirements

On-premise inference, formal security review, audit logging and data-residency constraints add real work. They also make the result more durable.

Urgency

Shortening a timeline concentrates effort rather than adding it. I will quote it if it is possible, and tell you what to drop if it is not.

Language coverage

English, Czech and Slovak are included at no extra cost. Additional languages are priced per language after a quality assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Cheapest way to find out if this is worth doing?

The audit. It is fixed-fee, it is written down, and it is useful even if you never hire me again. If the honest answer is "do not build this", you will get that in writing rather than after a deposit.

Do you work for equity or performance bonuses?

For a small equity component on an early product, yes. I do not work purely for equity — if the venture is not viable without my unpaid labour, I would rather not.

What are your payment terms?

Fixed-fee work is 50% on signature and 50% on delivery. Retainers are monthly in advance. Invoices are net 14, in EUR, transferable to Slovakia or the EU/EEA without friction.

Can you work within our procurement process?

Yes — purchase orders, framework agreements and supplier onboarding are all routine. I can also work through a subcontractor or agency structure if that is how your company buys.
